Jersey Finance's global strategy puts digital at its heart and we were delighted to be selected to help make their ambitions a reality.

Working with their in-house digital team, we realigned their digital assets to work cohesively together creating an engaging digital footprint for their members and users, while building valuable user behavioral and contact data for the events and business development teams.

As authors of important industry reports and commentary, a large focus was placed on making the most of this valuable content through their digital channels. Complex and large spreadsheets were converted into content managed interactive tools, for example, to illustrate, explain and clarify Jersey's cooperation agreements with European countries in the implementation of AIFMD.

We developed an extensive suite of tools and features in a tiered permission based members area and instituted a complete responsive redesign and rebuild, allowing the site to reach as wide an audience as possible. Foreign language 'feeder' sites completed this reconstruction of JFL's digital presence allowing the website to become the primary tool to attract, register and respond to an international audience.

An unprecedented increase in access via mobile devices plus a massive increase in visits, page views and incoming traffic from social media platforms support the hugely positive reception extended to the new site so far by both the organisation and their members.

Jersey Heritage



We've been working with Jersey Heritage for several years, originally building their website on our Sitebuilder platform in 2008.

When they asked us to completely rebuild the site they had some specifics in mind: they wanted the site to perform on as many platforms and devices as possible, to simplify the structure and take advantage of advances in browser capabilities to deliver a richer user experience.

We believed passionately in their content and set about producing a fully responsive site that leveraged Sitebuilder's intuitive content management features. The addition of the kid's zone allowed us to flex our user experience capabilites, and more importantly, the user engagement. We also built in a geoIP feature that sorted local (on island) users from off-island (UK) users, providing the ability to serve up alternative content dependent on the audience. This allows Jersey Heritage to showcase local events to a local audience and holiday let information to an off-island audience.

The Atlantic Hotel

where luxury meets the ocean


As the only Jersey hotel featured in Small Luxury Hotels of the World portfolio, the four star Atlantic, with it's unique location and Michelin-starred Ocean restaurant needed to maximise the representation of their assets online.

The quality of the product meant that we didn't have to actively 'sell', our efforts could be concentrated on communicating that quality, opening up the hotel's offering to the widest possible audience. Our approach centered around a responsive website rebuild based on the solid foundation of our Sitebuilder platform. We developed a range of digital channels for generating and reacting to social media, pulling this output into the website where appropriate as well as electronic direct mail (EDM) tools whilst keeping tone of voice and style consistent across all digital channels.

The new site was an evolution of the previous award winning design and a revolution under the covers, centering the website as the hub of their social and digital communications output. This holistic approach to digital activity has seen traffic to the site increase by well over 70%.

Featured in the Econsultancy.com list of '13 inspirational examples of travel sites using responsive design.' (compiled by David Moth, Deputy Editor of Econsultancy.com). Re-launched in February 2013 it became one of the first hotels in Europe to truly embrace the latest responsive technology.
